韻母 Rhyme
ap
The following words contain the rhyme ap. It is made by first producing a very short a sound and then closing with an p sound.
eng
The following words contain the rhyme eng. It is made by first producing a long e sound and then closing an ng sound.
eon
The following words contain the rhyme eon. It is similar to “-ion” as in “(stat)-ion” in English. For a clearer idea, mimick your teacher!

聲旁介紹 Phonetic Components Overview
從字的聲旁可以得出字的大致讀音。下面的字有聲旁「合」，讀音為hap。
We can sometimes guess the sound of a character from its parts. In this case, the following characters with the sound component「合」are pronounced hap.
部首介紹 Radical Overview
字的部首有意義分類的作用。部首為「虫」的字意思與昆蟲有關。
Chinese characters often have a component called “radicals”, and they can sometimes tell us about the meaning of the word. For example, when the radical is “虫” (insect), the meaning of the character is related to insects.
