韻母 Rhyme
e
The following words contain the rhyme e.
ai
The following words contain the rhyme ai. It is made by first producing a very short a sound and then connecting and closing with a relatively long i sound.
ik
The following words contain the rhyme ik. It is made by first producing a very short i sound and then closing with a silent k, almost as if you are swallowing the “k”.
注意事項 Points to Note
aai 和 ai 的分別在於韻腹的長度:aai 韻腹較長有兩個 a,ai 韻腹較短只有一個 a。
Here is a quick test to differentiate aai and ai. Try dragging out the vowels slowly: when you read aai, you will prolong the long “aa”; while when reading ai, you will arrive at the “i” much quicker and prolong the “i” instead (and not the short “a”).

One word in each line has a different rhyme from the others. Paying extra attention to the way your mouth moves, circle the words that are different from the rest, and write down the common rhyme.
